This step enables you to set up the payroll interface between Payroll Switzerland and the SAP HR Pension Fund for Switzerland. To do so, you establish assignments between payroll wage types and pension fund (PF) wage types.
Note that this step is only used if the SAP HR Pension Fund for Switzerland is implemented. You maintain the payroll interface for other country versions by performing the Assign Value Types to Wage Types (International) step.
The assignment between wage types and value types enables payroll to calculate the values determined in the pension fund. If program RPUPENC0 Match Individual PF Accounts With Payroll Results is executed, value types are posted to individual PF accounts.
PF-relevant wage types are distinguished one from the other by their wage type categories.
Activities
- Call the activity, and select the pension fund you require as a work area.
- Specify the fund for which you want to set up an assignment.
- Choose New Entries.
- In the Value Type field, specify the required value type.
- Determine the validity period.
- Assign a wage type to the value type.
- Determine the account type of the account to which the result is posted.
- Save your entries.
Further notes
Even if you implement the SAP HR Pension Fund for Switzerland, you can perform the activity intended for other country versions to use the following functions:
- Calculate contributions in the PC interpreter during the payroll run
- Implement Business Add-In (BAdI) HRPFD02PAYR to effect a customer enhancement of the payroll interface
- Read special payments from the PF account by transfers to infotype 0579 External Wage Components
- Calculate value and posting dates depending on the value types
In this case, you process the Assign Value Types to Wage Types (Other Countries) activity instead of this activity, and replace function CHPK with function PFD00 in the Swiss payroll schema.
