In this step, you set up objects of type "VE" service.

This involves the following steps:

  • You enter a service.
  • You relate the service with the rooms which will be supplied by it.

Note:

If you create a service for the purpose of locking a resource, for clarity's sake, you should not regard this service as a catering service, nor should you create the relationship "A039 supplies" between the service and rooms.

Activities

  1. Enter the validity start date of the object and choose 'Execute'.
  2. On the data screen, enter data as appropriate for the room you are creating and save your entries.

Further notes

The settings you made in the step Maintain personnel actions affect data maintenance for services too since you have specified which infotypes are allowed for services in this step.
