In this step, you specify the equipment contained in your rooms. Each type of equipment in your rooms, such as overhead projectors, is represented by a resource type.

This step contains the following single steps:

  • You enter the devices or utilities with which the room can be equipped.
  • You relate this equipment with the room which contains it.
  • You enter the number of units of this equipment in the room.

Example

A room could be equipped with 20 PCs, one overhead projector, and an LCD projector.

Activities

  1. On the initial screen, enter the validity start date of the object type and choose 'Create'.
  2. On the data screen, enter data as appropriate for the room you are creating.

Further notes

The settings you have made under Maintain actions affect data maintenance activities for room equipment. This step contains specifications of the infotypes that can be maintained for equipment.
