In this step you determine the number of periods in a year. The values specified in this step can be used to convert the time unit.
A conversion may be necessary if the salary structure and the Basic Pay infotype (0008) do not have the same time unit, for example.

Standard settings
In the standard system, the decision tree for feature PFREQ (payment frequency for annual salary) is defined so that the following values apply for the number of periods per year:
Period Number of periods per year
Weekly 52
Two-weekly 26
Half-monthly 24
Four-weekly 13
Monthly 12
Quarterly 04
Half-yearly 01

Modify feature PFREQ as required. To do this, see the documentation on feature PFREQ.
