In this step you determine the characteristics of your wage type for determining the salary total.
Example
You want the salary total to be rounded up or down to the nearest whole number. Your currency is the euro, and you want to round the salary total to the nearest 5 cents. Enter B as the rounding type and 5 as the rounding divisor.
Requirements
You have copied the model wage type CSAL to your wage type range in the Copy Wage Type for Determining Salary Total step.
Standard settings
Recommendation
Do not change any other characteristics apart from the rounding type and rounding divisor.
Activities
Modify the wage type to suit your requirements:
- Determine the country grouping for the wage type you want to edit.
- Place your cursor on the required wage type and choose Detail.
- Check the validity period for the entry.
- Check if the value ANSAL is assigned to the wage type in the Indirect valuation block in the Indirect valuation module field.
- Specify the rounding type and rounding divisor.
- Other characteristics are not taken into account.
- Choose Save.
