In this step, you can switch off the check of personnel numbers for other applications.

Personnel numbers may be entered in applications other than Personnel Administration (for example Asset Accounting, Vendor Master Record).

In the standard SAP system a check is run to see whether the personnel number entered at a specified time exists in Personnel Adminstration (HR).

If the HR component has not been implemented, you can deactivate this check.

You can also implement a different check using a function exit in the enhancement HRPBAS01.
