You can implement the following user exits in this step:
- Enhancement HRESSW1
- EXIT_SAPLRH65_001 (Search string enhancement)
- Enhancement HRESSW2
- EXIT_SAPLEHSS_001 (Check starting date)
- Enhancement HRESSW3
- EXIT_SAPLEHSS_002 (Propose starting date for ESS)
- Enhancement HRESSW4
- EXIT_SAPLEHUS_001 (Password assignment / User code for ESS user)
If you want to implement a user exit, you first have to create a project for it and then assign the required user exit to the project. Then define the coding for the user exit and activate the project. We strongly recommend that you read the documentation
Enhancing SAP Transactions before creating the project. You can find it with Help -> Extended help after calling this customizing activity.
You can find information about user exits in SAP Library under BC Change to the SAP Standard. You also get specific information about each user exit once you have assigned it to your project.
Warning
You should only perform this activity if the following two conditions are satisfied:
- The standard SAP processes do not satisfy your requirements.
- You have a deep knowledge of programming with ABAP/4.
Activities
- Enter a name for your project.
- Choose Create.
- Enter a short text for your project and choose Save.Assign the project to a task.
- Choose Assignment enhancement.
- Enter the name of the required enhancement (HRESSW1, HRESSW2, HRESSW3 or HRESSW4).
- Choose Save.
- Choose Components.
- Choose Change.
- Select the user exit for which you want to enter new coding.
- Select the appropriate Include (depending on the selected enhancement):
- zxwwwu01 (EXIT_SAPLRH65_001)
- zxwwwu03 (EXIT_SAPLEHUS_001)
- zxwwwu02 (EXIT_SAPLEHSS_001)
- zxwwwu04 (EXIT_SAPLEHSS_002)
The system asks you to create this Include. You can enter your new coding here.
Then activate your project.
- Go back to the initial screen and choose Activate project.
