In this step, you can define enhancements for infotypes.
The enhancement concept for Personnel Administration and Recruitment infotypes offers you the following options:
- You can carry out your own additional validations.
You can find detailed information on function exits in the extended help under project management of SAP enhancements.
New function exits are defined in the PBAS0001 enhancement:
The function exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_001 allows you to add your own default values on the single screen when creating or copying infotypes.
The function exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_002 allows you to carry out your own additional check after making the entries on the single screen and validating the fields.
- You can include any additional fields you want in the standard single screen as well as the standard list screen of an infotype in Personnel Administration and Recruitment.
SAP recommends that you use the transaction "Enhance infotypes" (PM01) for this.
