In the step "Defaults for date specifications", you can determine values for the date types depending on the conditions named in the feature documentation. These values are then proposed when the infotype Date specifications (0041) is maintained.
Example
You want the date type "Technical entry date" to always be proposed as a default when you create a record for the infotype Date specifications.

The standard SAP System contains different default values for the date types depending on the country.
Activities
- Check the SAP sample entries for the date types.
- If necessary, determine the conditions under which you want to have your date type(s) defaulted.
- Define the date type(s) to be defaulted for each condition.
