In this step, you define the limit values for the hours worked by your employee and the next pay scale group and level in the view Pay Scale Reclassification (V_T510R).

The report Pay Scale Reclassification (RPITIG00) compares the limit values for the hours worked with the working time that has already been cumulated. When the limit values are exceeded, this report creates a new record for the infotype Basic Pay (0008).

Example

According to the collective agreement, your employee should jump to pay scale group "02" from pay scale group "01" once he/she has worked 1200 hours.

Activities

  1. Enter the pay scale information of the pay scale group/level to be reclassified in the view.
  2. If you want to use the employee's hiring date determined in the infotypes Organizational Assignment (0001) and Date Specifications as a reclassification condition, enter this date in the Hired to field.
  3. If the reclassification conditions do not meet all of your requirements, you can use the feature PRVAR for additional reclassification conditions. For additional information on this, refer to the step "Refine reclassification conditions" in the implementation guide.
  4. Define the validity period for your reclassification criteria.
  5. In the block Reason for change, define the limit values for the hours worked by your employee.
  6. In the view, enter the subsequent pay scale group/level achieved due to the pay scale reclassification.
