In this step, you represent the pay scale progression defined in your collective agreement. You can set up this progression for your employees so that it is based on their age as well as length of time spent at a particular pay scale level.

Example

Your collective agreement stipulates that an employee must be reassigned to pay scale group "02" after two years in pay scale group "01".

Requirements

Pay scale types and areas must be defined.

You should have compiled a list of the collective agreements valid in your company.

Standard settings

The SAP standard System contains several model entries.

Recommendation

Use the above functionality.

Actions

  1. Use the SAP sample entries as a guide.
  2. Delete any unnecessary entries.
  3. Set up the pay scale reassignment according to your requirements.

    Please note the field documentation for the individual fields.

    1. Choose New entries.
    2. In the field Type enter the pay scale type as stipulated in the collective agreement.
    3. In the field Area enter the pay scale area as stipulated in the collective agreement.
    4. In the field Gr set up the employee subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provision as a differentiating option for the pay scales.
    5. Depending on date, enter the pay scale groups with their respective pay scale levels according to the collective agreement in the fields PayScGr and Level.
    6. If necessary, enter the age from which a reassignment should take place in the field AS.
    7. If necessary, in the field GrMD enter the duration of the membership in a pay scale group/level in years and months after which a reassignment should take place.
    8. In the fields FlgPSGr and FlgPSLevel enter the pay scale group and level that will be attained after the reassignment.
    9. Enter the wage types to be created or delimited in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
