In this step, you can make further distinctions for the reclassification criteria used by the evaluation report Pay Scale reclassification (RPITIG00). You only need to perform this step, if the pay scale information, the time-base delimitations and the employee's hiring date do not provide adequate enough reclassification criteria.
By using feature PRVAR in conjunction with additional organizational and employee-related criteria, you can define a three-character alphanumeric return code as a variable argument. This then reads the table Pay Scale Reclassification (view V_T510R).
Example
Your employment contracts stipulate that different limit values for pay scale reclassification apply to employees who have a part-time work contract than those that are applicable for full-time employees.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the feature PRVAR has a three-character return code with the initial value (' '). This means that you do not need to maintain the feature or the resulting variable argument in the view Pay Scale Reclassification (V_T510R) if you do not see a need for it.
Recommendation
To keep the number of entries in the view to a minimum, you should try to read the entries that have the same limit values and standard reclassification criteria with the same variable argument.
Activities
- Modify the feature PRVAR to meet your requirements.
In the structure PME50, the fields from the infotypes Organizational Assignment (0001) and Planned Working Time (0007) are defined as possible additional reclassification criteria. - Define a unique three-character alphanumeric code as a return code for the feature. This code is then used as a variable argument for reading the table Pay Scale Reclassification (Sicht V_T510R).
- In the step Define pay scale reclassification based on hours worked, assign the feature's return code as a variable argument to the relevant entry in the view.
