In this step, you use the feature Validation of the asset number and loan object number (ANLAC) to define whether you want to validate the asset number against the database ANLA.
Example
You want to validate the asset number or the loan object number against the Asset Accounting database ANLA; the return code is Y. If numbers should not be validated, the return code is N.
Requirements
SAP Asset Accounting must exist if validations are to be performed.
Standard settings
Validation against the database ANLA is not performed in the standard SAP system.
Recommendation
Use the feature and the sample entry in the standard SAP R/3 System.
Activities
- You only need to modify the feature if data should be validated against the database ANLA.
