Example

An employee has a limited contract, another has an unlimited contract.

Requirements

Get an idea of the contract categories used in your enterprise.

Standard settings

The standard system contains the most common contract categories.

Recommendation

Copy the default setting.

Activities

  1. Check the default setting.
  2. If necessary, create new contract categories with the accompanying texts.
    In the column Limited contract, enter the indicator X for limited contracts.
  3. Delete any entries that are not required.

Further notes

  • You can use contract categories for your own evaluations.
  • For example, in the feature Default values for contract elements (CONTR), you can generate defaults for the contract category in the infotype Contract Elements (0016), depending on the employee subgroup.
