In the last step, you defined the collective agreement types (pay scale types for short) and collective agreement areas (pay scale areas for short) for your enterprise.
You now assign working times to your various combinations of pay scale type and pay scale group. You specify both the standard weekly working time and the standard number of working days per week as stipulated in the collective agreement.
Example
Employees assigned to the pay scale type 'metal industry' and the pay scale area 'Rhineland-Palatinate' have a standard weekly working time of 36.50 hours; the hours are distributed over 5 working days.
Requirements
You have defined pay scale types and pay scale areas.
You have an overview of the collective agreements in your company.
Standard settings
The standard system contains several model entries.
Recommendation
Base your entries on the model entries in the standard system.
Activities
- Delete any entries you do not require
- Make new entries as required
- Choose New entries
- In the pay scale type field, enter the key of one of the pay scale types you defined in the step Define pay scale type
- In the pay scale area field, enter one of the pay scale areas you defined in the step Define pay scale area
- In the ESG/CAP field, enter the employee subgroup grouping for the collective agreement provision as a means of distinguishing between the collective agreements
- Specify a validity period for your entries
- In the Hours field, enter the standard weekly working time as stipulated in the collective agreement
- In the Days field, enter the number of working days per week as stipulated in the collective agreement
Further notes
The standard working time forms the basis for the various methods of reducing standard leave entitlement or standard pay.
- Public Sector Germany: You can specify individual deviations from the standard working time.
