You can use the Occupational Health functions of the SAP Environment, Health and Safety (SAP EH&S) component instead of the Internal medical service infotype (0028). This component offers you a wide range of functions to support the work-related care of your employees and to help you plan and carry out health surveillance protocols. It also enables you to use the corresponding functions in a more comfortable manner.
You make the necessary settings for the Occupational Health functions in Customizing under Environment, Health and Safety -> Occupational Health.
If you want to obtain an overview of the scope of functions of the component, see the relevant section in SAP Library under EH&S - Occupational Health.
In this step you define the examination areas that you want.
The examination area is a medically relevant entity that can be made into the object of a medical examination for the employees in your enterprise.
You can define several examination areas for each examination type.
Example
You want to determine the following examination areas for the examination type Medical examination for hiring:
- 01 height
- 02 weight
- 03 blood type
Requirements
Find out how you need to subdivide examination types into examination areas in your enterprise.
Activities
- Define the necessary examination areas per examination type. Note that you can define a maximum of 30 examination areas per examination type.
- Define a text for the examination areas.
