In this step, you set up the payment methods in your system.

Example

  • The indicator "U" for a payment method means that amounts are transferred to the employee's account.

  • The indicator "S" for a payment method means that the amount is paid by check.

Requirements

Get an overview of how you want to (or have to) make payments to your employees.

Standard settings

The standard SAP System contains indicators for all the common payment methods.

Recommendation

Use the SAP default setting.

Activities

  1. Choose the function Payment method/Country.
  2. If necessary, enter a country key or choose an existing country key.
  3. On the detail screen, check the possible payment methods contained in the standard SAP system.
  4. If necessary, create new keys for payment methods according to your requirements.

Further notes

You should only maintain company code data if the module "Human Resources HR" is installed.
