In this step, you assign infotypes and subtypes to test procedures. Please see the section Test Procedures for an application example of test procedures.
Requirements
The test procedure is active in your system - you can recognize this from the setting of the authorization switch HR: Test Procedure (APPRO) and can edit it with transaction HR:Authorization switch (OOAC). You have already defined valid test procedures.
Standard settings
The test procedures are not active in the standard system and infotypes and subtypes have not been assigned to test procedures.
Activities
Assign the infotypes and subtypes that are to be used in test procedures to the relevant test procedure. An infotype/subtype can be assigned to several test procedures. Proceed as follows for each infotype:
- Enter the name of the infotye.
- Assign the infotype's subtypes to the desired test procedure.
- Save your entries.
Further notes
If you use the infotype Test Procedures, please pay particular attention to the authorizations for Test Procedures (0130) when you are assigning authorizatins for HR infotypes. The write authorization for the Test Procedures infotype (0130) controls access to these infotypes by assigning infotypes to test procedures: if an infotype is assigned to a test procedure and a test procedure is run for a person up to a certain release date, then the data stored in this infotype can only be edited if the necessary write authorization exists for the assigned test procedure and if this time period lies before the release date.
