In this workstep you carry out the basic system settings for the integration of the Resumix System with the SAP system.

Activities

You should definitely adjust the following parameters: EVENT, EXPPATH, IMPPATH, RELEASE, REQID, REQPOS, REQSQL, RSXEXPP, RSXIMPP, SERVER, STARTPOS, USER. Maintenance of all other parameters is optional.

The following is a description of the individual parameters.

Parameters for importing:

  • EVENT: action type used to import the data of applicants being hired into the HR master data.
  • IMP01 to IMP10: names of tables (Resumix) to be imported. (Siehe Resumix-Datenhandbuch)
  • IMPPATH: path name (SAP application server) used for importing data into the SAP System.
  • RSXIMPP: path name (SAP application server) used for importing data into the SAP System.
  • PERSAREA: field in which the personnel area is stored in the Resumix System. First state the table name using six characters and then the serial number of the field using two (for example REQTBL83). (See the Resumix data handbook)
  • PERSSUBA: field in which the personnel subarea is stored in the Resumix System. First state the table name using six characters and then the serial number of the field using two (for example REQTBL87). (See the Resumix data handbook)
  • POSITION: field in which the position is stored in the Resumix System. First state the table name using six characters and then the serial number of the field using two (for example REQTBL89). (See the Resumix data handbook)
  • STARTPOS: field in wich the hiring date is stored in the Resumix System. First state the table name using six characters and then the serial number of the field using two (for example RSMTRK39). (See the Resumix data handbook)
  • REQUPOSA: field in which the recruitment request is stored in the Resumix System. First state the table name using six characters and then the serial number of the field using two (for example REQTBL3). (See thE Resumix data handbook)

Parameters for exporting:

  • CURRENCY: currency used in the Resumix System.
  • DATEFORM: date format used in the Resumix System. This format is declared in the Resumix System under DATE_FORM (see Resumix handbook 'Using Open Access', chapter 3).
  • REQID: ID of recruitment requests to be created in the Resumix System. You can use a Wildcard (see Resumix handbook 'Using Open Access' Chapter 3)
  • EMAILSUB: subtype in which the e-mail address is stored within the infotype 'Communication' (0105).
  • EXPATH: path name (SAP application server) used to import data into the Resumix System.
  • RSEXPP: path name (Resumix server) used to import data into the Resumix System.
  • VACIMP: command used to trigger the import of vacant positions into the Resumix System from the SAP application server. Note that the terms 'SERVER', 'USER', 'COMMAND' and 'FILE' are placeholders for corresponding variables. They are replaced in the interface by the relevant values while the program is running.
  • VACIMP: command used to trigger the import of vacant positions into the Resumix System from the SAP application server. This value is put in the field COMMAND of the parameter VACIMP while the program is running (see Resumix handbook 'Using Open Access', Chapter 3).
  • USER: user ID used by the SAP System to log onto the Resumix Server. This value is put in the field USER of the parameter VACIMP while the program is running (see Resumix handbook 'Using Open Access' Chapter 3).
  • SERVER: name of Resumix Server. This value is put in the field SERVER of the parameter VACIMP while the program is running (see Resumix handbook 'Using Open Access', Chapter 3).
  • RELEASE: version of Resumix installation. The parameter is not checked against the actual installation. Instead, this key is used to read the relationship between the Resumix data fields and the SAP data fields from the relevant tables (see next chapter).
  • REQLOG: program that is called up if the import into the Resumix System has failed.
