Example

You want to be able to evaluate which employees left because they were dissatisfied, in order to be able to increase the satisfaction of your employees.

Requirements

You have already defined personnel actions.

Standard settings

The standard SAP System contains some examples of reasons for actions.

Some of the personnel actions (Hiring, Leaving and Promotions) are pre-defined for reporting purposes.

Check if the values defined in the table match the pre-defined values listed below.

  1. Hiring
    • 01 - Creation of new workplaces
    • 02 - Substitution of workplaces
    • 03 - Re-enter temporary suspension
  2. Leaving
    • 01 - Employee initiative
    • 02 - Mutual agreement
    • 03 - Enterprise initiative
    • 04 - Collective firing 16ºDL64A/89
    • 05 - Firing art.26º DL.64-A/89
    • 06 - Retirement by invalidity (+2/3)
    • 07 - Retirement by old age (normal)
    • 08 - Anticipated retirement
    • 09 - Pre-retirement
    • 10 - Death
    • 11 - By term of limited contract 44º 64A/89
    • 12 - By unknown term contract
    • 13 - By anticipation of contract
    • 14 - By unknown anticipation of contract
    • 15 - Optional substitution of workplace
    • 16 - Another reason for substitution of workplace
    • 17 - Temporary substitution
  3. Promotions
    • 01 - Seniority promotion
    • 02 - Merit promotion

Recommendation

Use the above-mentioned evaluation options. If you change them, the legal reports will provide faulty information.

Activities

  1. Check the SAP sample entries.
  2. If necessary, create your own entries according to your requirements.
    1. Define the number of the reason for each personnel action.
    2. Give this reason a name.
