In this step you can check the conversion rules.
A letter code is used to identify conversion rules. The employment tax table/conversion type used is determined by the employment tax indicator.
Example
Conversion rule A = employee only liable to contributions.
Requirements
None.
Standard settings
All conversion rules defined by the tax office are part of the SAP standard delivery.
In addition, a SAP-specific conversion rule has been defined with code "1". It is processed like code "0" (apply table without conversion rule), but the maximum compensatory allowance, sometimes also referred to as premium transfer allowance (overhevelingstoeslag) is always granted.
Recommendation
The meaning of pre-defined conversion rules is fixed and cannot be changed. However, it is possible to modify the texts. You can also add new conversion rules. Please note that only rules defined by the tax authorities should be entered in the system.
Activities
- Check the standard conversion rules supplied by SAP and change the text if necessary.
- If more rules are required, enter them in the system.
- To change a rule, delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct start date.
