In this Customizing activity, you define the special tax indicators (speciale aanduidingen) applicable for employees' annual employment tax statements.
Note: These indicators are not relevant to payroll accounting, but may need to be printed on employment tax cards.

Standard settings
Special tax indicators are defined by the Dutch tax authorities and are included by SAP as part of the standard system delivery. The texts of the existing codes can be changed but their meaning is fixed.
This Customizing activity involves defining values in the Special Indicator Codes (Tax Authority) (V_T5N2S) Customizing view. To hide special tax indicators on employees' annual employment tax statements, use the Hide Special Tax Indicators in Yearly Statement Customizing activity.
Note: There is a direct relationship between the special tax indicators defined in the V_T5N2S Customizing view and listed in the Special Tax Indicators for Yearly Statement (V_T5N2W) Customizing view. For example, if you delete an entry in the V_T5N2W Customizing view, then this entry is automatically deleted from the V_T5N2S Customizing view.
Recommendation
Activities
- Check the standard codes supplied by SAP and modify if necessary.
- If new codes have been introduced by the tax office, enter them in the system.
- Interim changes: Delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct start date.
