In this step you can check the income indicators. These codes are not used in standard payroll accounting, but must be stated on the employment tax card.

Standard settings
The income codes are defined by the tax office and are part of the SAP standard delivery. The texts of existing codes can be changed, but their meaning is fixed.
Activities
Check the standard income indicators supplied by SAP and modify the text if necessary.
If new codes have been introduced by the tax office, enter them in the system.
To make changes, delimit the old data and create a new record with the correct start date.
