In this step you can define the contribution indicators [premieplichtcodes] for pensions.

These indicators control the calculation of pension contributions during payroll accounting.

Example

If the contribution indicator "0" is used, no pension contributions are calculated.

Requirements

None.

Standard settings

The indicators relevant to payroll accounting are supplied with the standard delivery. You can add new indicators whenever necessary.
The codes are valid for all pensions.

The standard contribution indicators are:

  • 0 = Not liable to pay contributions
  • 1 = Liability to pay contributions
  • 2 = Re-calculate contribution (only used with annual accounting) [jaarberekening]
  • 3 = Manual entry of contributions.

Recommendation

The meaning of the indicators cannot be changed, but the text can be modified to suit your organization's requirements.

It is also possible to add indicators. However, these new indicators are not used by the standard payroll run.

Activities

  1. Check whether the texts suit your requirements and make changes if necessary.
  2. If you want to use other codes, you must create them.
