In this step, you define your jobs, that is, the jobs and activities that exist in your company.
Example
In the Organizational Assignment infotype (0001), you want to be able to store the information that your employee performs the job of a financial accountant.
Requirements
Obtain an overview of all the job descriptions that exist at your company.
Standard settings
The standard system contains several job descriptions that may not reflect the job descriptions in your enterprise.
Recommendation
For reporting or in preparation for implementing Organizational Management, we recommend that you use the job descriptions.
Activities
- Delete the entries that you do not need.
- Create your own job descriptions.
Further notes
The additional national job indicators are defined in the step or section that is relevant for the respective country.
If you intend to use Organizational Management in the future, then you must maintain the positions beforehand.
