The pre-defined tax calculation classes are as follows:

  • Normal tax calculation class -
    This is the regular way of calculating tax amount.
    Tax amount is calculated based on regular wages entered in Basic
    Pay infotype (0008)    , Recurring Payments/Deductions infotype
    (0014)     and Additional Payments infotype (0015).
  • Assumed tax calculation class -
    This is a special way of calculating tax amount for overseas salary.
    Tax amount is calculated based on overseas wages entered in Overseas
    Salary infotype (0560)    . The purpose of this calculation class is
    to ensure payable amount to an employee.

Recommendation

Entries are maintained only if customer specific tax calculation
class is required.

Check the entries and create new entries, if required.
