In this step, you define the retirement reduction rate for each retirement reason category. The following three steps define the retirement reduction rate:
Defining reduction rate pattern.
Defining actual reduction rate values for each reduction pattern.
Defining link between retirement reason category and reduction rate pattern. Only this association setting has a validity period.
The reduction rate pattern can be used for version management. If a company rule affecting the pre-defined reduction rate is changed, and the change takes effect at a future date, you can define a new reduction pattern and reduction rate values in advance. You then associate this new pattern to the retirement reason category with a validity period. In this way, you can always manage to set reduction rate values as a group or version.
Requirements
The retirement reason category must be pre-defined. Check how the retirement allowance amount reduction rate is define in your company and decide how many patterns must be defined.
Standard settings
SAP's sample reduction rates have already been defined.
Activities
Define reduction rate pattern ID and name/explanation of pattern.
Define reduction rate values with service year. This step must be performed for each reduction pattern defined.
Define link between retirement reason category and reduction pattern with validity period.
