In this step, you set up the following information for each subtype of Infotype 0140 - SI Basic Data.
- Possible entries for the social insurance indicator and corresponding texts.
- Deduction indicator which determines if the insurance premium is to be deducted during payroll processing.
The following subtypes are available:
1 : Health Insurance
2 : Employee's Pension
3 : Pension Fund
4 : Employment Insurance
5 : Accident Insurance
6 : Nursing Insurance
Deduction of insurance premium during payroll processing will occur only when the Deduction indicator is set to 'X'.
Standard settings
The standard system contains the current Japanese regulation.
Recommendation
The standard entries should be maintained only when Japanese regulation changes.
In any other case, we recommend you do not change the standard configuration, since inaccurate settings may cause malfunction of the payroll processing.
However, if you do have to add new entries, keep in mind the only possible values you can set for the Social insurance indicator range from 'U' to 'Z'.
Any other values are reserved, and must not be used.
