The discipline can optionally be mapped to HESA codes. The field Highest academic qualification in the HESA staff return is determined using the Academic qualification infotype (0618) using the mapping entered in this table.

SAP delivers sample entries.
Recommendation
Use the academic disciplines as delivered from SAP.
If you add your own disciplines make sure you map them to HESA codes.
Activities
Check the disciplines and make sure all disciplines you want to use are there.
