Use
In this activity you set up the treshold value for annual salary calculation (percentage).
Requirements
Standard settings
The annual salary is returned in field 17 'Basic salary at reference date' of contract table. This field must be completed with a valid code other than the default code when field 16 'Salary point' of contract table has been coded 'XX' and the member of staff is not classes as 'atypical'.
The amount of annual salary is evaluated based on the month of July of the return year (IT0008, IT0014, IT0015, wage type grouping HSAL) or in the case of staff who have left the institution during the academic/financial year, the salary on leaving).
If the calculated value is 0, evaluation will be performed for the previous month on a monthly basis, until a non-zero value is found or the beginning of the return year is reached. The constant set up in this activity represents a threshold for a value of annual salary (A) in comparison to Total monies paid (B), returned in field 23 of Person table.
A warning message will be issued in the error log of the HESA NISR report on contract level, if the absolute value of (A- B) / A x 100 is greater than the percentage held in this field constant field.
10% is delivered by SAP as a standard value.
