Here you can define which date type to use on infotype Date Specification (0041) to determine Date entered current service in current Higher Education Institution (field 16 - DATEHEI - of the HESA record).
The date type is identified by its date indicator. The date indicator of the date type has to be set to 89.

Requirements
Standard settings
SAP does not deliver a date type set up with date indicator 89 for use with HESA - Date entered.
Recommendation
SAP suggests to not use this feature and rather enter the date on infotype HESA Master Data (0614).
Activities
Set up one date type or set the date indicator of a date type you have already set up for this purpose to 89.
