In this step, you assign your wage types to wage type groups.
SAP has already grouped its sample wage types into wage groups.
Example
If you want to be able to assign a wage type to an infotype other than that specified by the standard SAP system, you must complete this step.
Requirements
You must have already defined the wage types in the wage type catalog.
Standard settings
In the standard SAP system, some wage types have already been assigned (e.g. vacation allowance, Christmas bonus).
Activities
Check your wage types and, if necessary, add new ones.
Further notes
If you have added a wage type to another wage type group in this step, then you must carry out the next step as well.
