In this step, you create the pension rates for the individual pension funds. For this, you can define one or more pension tables for every pension fund. A pension table can in turn contain different contribution rates depending on the number of contribution years. A pension rate can contain up to nine different levels in this case. The pension tables and pension rates defined here or their levels are then used by the individual pension types for calculating the pension amount.
Sample entries are contained in the standard SAP R/3 System.
Recommendation
When setting the pension rates it is necessary to take the step "Pension types" into consideration, as it references the pension tables created here and therefore their pension rates. SAP therefore recommends that you process these two steps in parallel.
Activities
Specify the pension fund and the key of the pension table.
Enter the maximum number of pension contribution years up to which the pension rate is valid.
