In this step, you create the total transaction types for each pension fund. These are needed for evaluations in payroll accounting. For this, you assign one or more wage types which are accumulated on it to a total transaction type. Furthermore, you determine how the data is to be processed in payroll accounting.

Requirements

  • If you do not work with the wage types of the standard system, you must already have created new wage types.
  • You must have created the Pension funds.

Standard settings

Sample entries are contained in the standard SAP R/3 System.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. Specify the pension fund and the designation of the total transaction type.
  2. Specify the wage type to be accumulated as well as the validity period.
  3. Create the field Sign and specify the factor and the formula needed to further process the total transaction type, if necessary.
  4. Specify the value of the total transaction type.
