You create additional family types in this step. Every family type represents a subtype of the infotype Family (0021).

Standard settings

The most common family types have already been defined in the standard SAP System.

Activities

  1. Check whether the default settings meet your requirements.
  2. If you need to create a new family type, proceed as follows:
    1. Enter the value 0021 in the field Infotype.
    2. Enter the number of the new infosubtypes.
    3. Enter a short text for the family type.
    4. Determine the time constraint of the family type.
