In this section you can create your own wage types for the infotype Income Tax: Deductions (0390), copying the sample wage types provided by SAP. You will use these wage type copies in the following steps and will be able to change them to suit the needs of your company. In theory, only wage types that you can include in the infotype Income Tax: Deductions (0390) are proposed.
Note
To obtain information about how to create user wage types, see Create wage types using wage types catalogs and Create wage types using prototypes, in the section Personnel administration-> Personnel administration-> Payroll data-> Wage types-> Create wage types using wage types catalogs/Create wage types using prototypes.
Take into account that the sample wage type copies adopt the properties of the samples, both in relation to dialog behavior and their behavior in the payroll accounting. In the following steps you will be able to check, and if necessary, change the dialog properties of your wage types.
Attention
Only use for wage types the designated area (all the wage types that begin with a figure). NEVER copy wage types within the SAP sample wage types area (all the wage types that begin with a letter or special character).
