In this step you assign compensation wage types to compensation reasons. In the infotype "Compensation", these wage types are proposed according to the compensation reason.

Requirements

You have already defined the wage types in the "wage type catalog".

Standard settings

The following sample wage types are used in the standard system:

  • MW10 - credit to creditor
  • MW20 - credit to employee - non-garnishable
  • MW30 - credit to employee - garnishable
  • MW40 - repayment from creditor

Recommendation

In the case of the Compensation reason "credit to employee", you must decide whether you want to use the sample wage type MW20 or MW30 as a proposal wage type. In the standard system, the sample wage type MW30 is used, since it is to be assumed that a credit balance already garnished is also garnishable again.

Activities

  1. Assign your wage types to the standard sample wage types.
  2. Enter your own wage types instead of the standard sample wage types.
