In this step you can store the addresses that you need on a regular basis to process garnishments:

  • Court addresses
  • Creditors' addresses
  • Miscellaneous addresses for correspondence (for example attorneys' addresses)

In addition to the addresses, you can store other data required for communication (for example fax numbers or email addresses).

Activities

Create an entry for each address you need (those of courts, creditors, etc.) by performing the following activity:

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. For each address enter an explanatory text in the field Text.
  3. Select an entry and choose the icon Address.

    You reach the screen Edit address.

  4. Enter the exact data of the selected address and choose OK.
  5. Save your data.

Further notes

The system assigns a unique key to each address you save in the view Addresses through address management Later, when you create a garnishment in the system, you can use the following fields in Garnishment/Cession infotype 0131 to access the keys:

  • Court key
  • Creditor key
  • Correspondence key
