In this step you determine the check conditions for issuing sickness certificates valid for general practitioners, specialists, and dentists as defined by the social insurance institutions.
You control the system reaction if the employee requests sickness certificates more than once for a certain physician within a certain quarter.
Activities
- You carry out the activity.
You reach the screen System Reaction with Master Data Maintenance.
- For each social insurance institution check the system reactions in the column Normal flag in case of multiple requests for sickness certificates:
- The system can issue information, a warning, or an error.
- As an alternative, you can determine the maximum number of certificates that are to be issued for different physicians. This number must match that of the number of doctors the insured is entitled to visit within one quarter.
If required, you can make changes.
- For each social insurance institute check the the column Leave flag for the system reaction in the case of multiple requests for Vacation sickness certificate.
Standard settings
The settings in the standard system regarding the maximum number of sickness certificates are in accordance with the official guidelines that were in effect at the time of delivery.
