Define Payroll Simulation Setting for Adjustment Reason (FLEX)

Use

You use this step to control which adjustment reason controls payroll simulation during flexible benefits enrolment via ESS. To allow employees to run payroll simulation during enrolment, you must set the payroll simulation indicator assigned for each enrolment adjustment reason you have created.

Note: Annual enrolment of flexible benefits is created using a specific adjustment reason, in the same way that life event change enrollment is also created using a pre-defined adjustment reason.

Requirements

To allow employees to run payroll simulation during enrolment, you must have already set the indicator Simulation allowed for adjustment reason in the previous IMG step Set ESS Parameters.

The indicator Simulation allowed for adjustment reason must be marked if you allow simulation in ESS.

Activities

  1. Execute this IMG activity and select the appropriate benefits area when prompted.

    The table view Payroll Simulation Setting for the Event: Overview is displayed.

  2. Select your required adjustment reason(s) in the field Adj.
  3. For each adjustment reason that requires payroll simulation to be available, set the Payroll Simulation indicator.
  4. Save your entries.
