Specify Flexible Benefits Cost Period for Company Car Plan (FLEX)

Use

For each company car plan, after an employee has selected a car from the car pool and the ordered car is delivered, the HR administrator needs to maintain the Company Car infotype (0442) for the employee.

In this step, you define the period of flexed value to be maintained in the infotype 0442. It indicates whether the employee needs to pay a certain amount for his company car annually, quarterly or monthly and so on.

This customizing step is only valid for the option: integration with the infotype 0442. It is not valid for the following options:

  • The employee opts out the company car but selects car allowance. In this situation, there is no need to create the record in the infotype 0442.
  • The employee selects estimated benefit cost for company car which cannot actually be enrolled in the Flexible Benefits Administration system.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Select a benefit area and its validity period.
  3. Select a cost period.
  4. Save your entries.
