In this step, you can change the screen control for the following interfaces:

  • Loans infotype (0045)
  • Conditions view (V_T506D) in the step Maintain Loan Types of the Implementation Guide (IMG).

    Here, for example, you can specify that when customizing loan conditions, no entries are to be made in a specific field.

You can hide or show fields, or mark fields as required or optional entry fields. You can also mark fields as not ready for input. For the Loans infotype (0045), you can use feature P0045 to specify that these fields are to be treated especially in certain cases, for example, depending on the loan type.

Example

Example for the Loans infotype (0045)

For loan type 9100, you want to hide the External reference number field from the infotype interface. The field should remain visible for all other loan types.

To do this, you copy the following entry in the Infotype screen control: Loans (0045) view (T588M):

Module pool: MP004500
Standard screen: 2000
Feature: P0045
Alternative screen: 2000

In the Variable key field, enter EXTN. Choose Hide for the P0045-EXTDL (External reference number) field. You then define the return value EXTN for the loan type 9100 in the feature P0045. With this value, the system reads the table T588M (Infotype screen control) and recognizes that the External reference number field is not to be shown.

Example for the Conditions view

You have defined the reference interest rate for your enterprise with the constant REFIN in table T511K (Payroll constants). (Refer to 4.6C Release Information; Additional functions for the loans component.)You therefore want to prevent entries being made in the Reference interest rate field when customizing loan conditions. To do this, you choose Hide for the V_T506D-ZREFR (Reference interest rate) field in the Infotype screen control: Loan conditions view (Q588M).

Screen control for the Loans infotype (0045)

  1. Choose the action Infotype screen control: Loans (0045)
  2. To make general changes to the screen control, proceed as follows:
    1. Choose the entry with the number of the screen whose screen control you want to change.
    2. In the detail view, adjust the screen control in line with your requirements and save your entries.
  3. To change the screen control so that it depends on certain conditions, such as the loan type, proceed as follows:
    1. Copy the entry that you want to change.
    2. Adjust the screen control to meet your requirements.
    3. In the Variable key field, enter a four-character return value of your choice.
    4. Choose Feature and specify the conditions in feature P0045 on which screen control should depend. At the end of the decision tree, specify the return value that you entered in the Variable key field.
    5. Save your entries.

Screen control for the Conditions view in the IMG step Maintain Loan Types

  1. Choose the action Hide fields in the view maintenance for loan conditions.
  2. Adjust the screen control to meet your requirements and save your entries.
