In this section, you assign the employee and the employer contributon rates to the Social Security Company Rates modifier and the social security category. Rates are set by the company for the various categories of social security.

Currently, there are two categories being used in Thailand.

Standard settings

The statutory rates for social security contributions are set up by SAP and provided with the system.

Requirements

Before you assign the employee and employer contribution rates to the social security company rate modifier, you must have:

  1. defined the modifier in the step Social Security Company Rates Modifier.
  2. assigned the Social Security Company rates modifier to personnel area/ subareas in the step PA/PSA for Social Security Company Rates Modifier grouping.

Activities

  1. Enter the Social Security Company Rates modifier in the PS Grp SS field.
  2. Enter the social security category for which contribution is to be made in the SS Categry field.
  3. Enter the start date in the Start date field to indicate start of validity period.
  4. Enter the end date in the End date field to indicate end of validity period.
  5. Enter the employee contribution rate in the Emp Co Rte field.
  6. Enter the employer contribution rate in the Empr Co Rt field.
  7. Save entries.
