In this step, you define the parameters for the grossup wage types.

Requirements

You must have copied your wage types from the sample wage types and assigned them to the wage type group Grossup.

Standard settings

The standard wage types have parameters defined for grossup. You should check to see if you can use these parameters when you set up your own grossup wage types.

Activities

  1. Check the cumulations in the first view for your wage types.
  2. Set the type of grossup payment. The following grossup payment types are available:
    • 01 - Standard grossup payment
    • 02 - Termination grossup payment
  3. Enter a sort number in the Sort field. This defines the order in which the wage types are grossed up.
  4. In the Special routine field, you specify the deductions to be borne by the employer. The options are:
    - I - Insurance contributions
    - T - Tax
    - 1 - Use rule in parameter 1
    - 2 - Use rule in parameter 2
    - 3 - Use rule in parameter 3
  5. Set the number of iterations after which the process should stop trying to find solutions and how close the solutions should be.
  6. Finally, you should assign two technical wage types which are to contain the grossup net amount and the grossup gross amount in the payroll report.
