This step enables you to check which wage types, time types, and employee subgroups are included in the SAF Employee statistics.

Standard settings
In the standard R/3 System the wage types, time types, and employee subgroups have been set up.
Recommendation
Activities
- Enter the country grouping (23) and the form name.
(The name you gave your copy of form SAF1.) - Check the wage types, time types, and employee subgroups and customize if necessary.
Further notes
It is very important that you customize your employee subgroups. For all employee subgroups that have a monthly salary, you must use the name MTLY in the wage type field (table T503-field). For all employee subgroups that have hourly wages, you must use the name HRLY in the wage type field (table T503-field).

Employee subgroup S0 has a monthly salary and must therefore be customized as above.
The table name RT means that the value in the first wage type field is a wage type read from the result table. This could be either a technical wage type (/XXX) or a normal wage type.
The table ZES means that the value in the first wage type field is a time type and not a wage type.
The table ITWITY means that the value in the first wage type field is a wage type read from infotypes (IT0008, IT0014, and IT0015).
Entries in the second wage type field, except for the T503-fields, have the following meaning:
TOVR - Time type showing overtime
TTOT - Time type showing total work time
PFIX - Wage type for fixed agreed salary
POVR - One entry for each wage type that is overtime pay
(Normally used for workers - 'Styrkod 052')
POVT - One entry for each wage type that is overtime pay
(Normally used for salaried staff - 'Styrkod 053')
POBT - Wage type for unsocial hours bonus
PBEN - Wage type for other benefits
