Vacation in advance can be given to employees in Sweden in the start year of employment, when the employee has not accrued any paid vacation. The employee gets vacation in advance, but has to pay it back if he ends the employment within five years. After five years normally the debt will not be relevant anymore. The debt will be saved on a technical wage type /397 Advance Leave Debt.

Activities

  1. Check your requirements.
  2. The schedule SVF1 is used. You need to change two rules:
    SVF4 - Please change M791 Advance Leave in the rule to your copy of M791 (for grouping *, 2, 3)
    SVF5 - Please exchange the wage type, which you enter the rule with, from M79A Manual deduct adv leave to your copy of this wagetype.(Subobjects:Wage type M79A, Esgr 2, 3)
    You only need to change SVF5, if you want to be able to manually reduce the deduction e.g. for an employee that is fired he should maybe not get a deduction at all. You would then put in your copy of M791A on infotype 15 in the same period as the employee gets the deduction.
