In this step, you decide which wage types you want to add to the salary definition for vacation. You enter the value 1 in processing class 73 if you want to add your wage type to the salary definition.
You also create different valuation bases to be evaluated for your vacation wage types.
In Sweden, you can save your vacation for five years. When you take a day off, you then have to adjust your vacation pay in accordance with the utilization factor.
Example
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard R/3 System contains model wage types that are collected in the salary definition for vacation.
The standard model has set up valuation bases for five years. If you have saved your vacation for more than five years, the remaining amount goes into a "rest" valuation basis. Valuation basis /Y01 is used for the accrual year ("Intjänandeåret"). When you take a vacation day, the utilization factor applicable when you saved this day is used. This is necessary for the calculations.
Recommendation
Activities
Check the settings conform to your requirements for vacation.
If you want to save vacation days for more than five years, for 10 years for example, make the necessary adjustments here and add valuation bases.
