When you customize Basic Pay (infotype 008), you determine whether you have a full-time or part-time salary. A full-time salary means that you have, for example, SEK 15,000 in infotype 08 but in fact work only 50%, your actual salary then being SEK 7,500.
A part-time salary means that your actual salary is set up in infotype 08, here SEK 7,500.
If you decide to set up a full-time salary in Basic Pay, you need to maintain value 1 in processing class 86 for your wage types.
It is important that your part-time (actual) salary always results from the calculation.

The standard R/3 System contains model wage types with a part-time salary.

SAP recommends that you use a part-time salary in infotype 08.
Activities
- Check all the wage types that you use in infotype 08 and see whether you have a full-time or part-time salary.
- If you have a full-time salary, change the value in processing class 86 to 1. If you have a part-time salary, no action is required.
