In this step, you set up the wage types used to calculate advance payments. To do this, you use processing class 65 (Advance payments) to define if and how the wage types are paid in advance.
Example
You want all of an employee's earnings, allowances, payments and deductions to be paid in advance. To do this, you would set processing class 65 to specification 0.
Standard settings
The standard system contains model SAP wage types that you can use or copy.
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you use or copy the model SAP specifications for processing class 65.
Activities
To set up your advance payment wage types, you:
- Flag the relevant wage types, and choose Goto -> Details.
- Enter the appropriate specification for each wage type in processing class 65.
- Navigate between the wage types using Goto -> Next entry.
