In this activity, you set up the reasons for actions used to process terminations and redundancies. You also assign a category to each of the reasons, to indicate if the termination is due to death or redundancy and so on.
Note
The system reflects any changes or additions that you make to the entries in this view in Reasons for Action (T530) table.
Example
You want to be able to evaluate which employees left because they were dissatisfied, in order to be able to increase the satisfaction of your employees. You also need to identify which termination reason is due to death for the purpose of some special processing.

Standard settings
The standard SAP System contains examples of reasons for actions. Only the pre-defined reason categories should be assigned to each reason as indicated:
01 Redundancy
02 Invalidity
03 Death # Trustee of deceased
04 Death # Dependent
05 Death # Other
06 Approved Early Retirement

Recommendation
Use only the mentioned evaluation options for the termination reasons.
Activities
- Check the SAP sample entries.
- Delete the entries that are not required.
- If necessary, create your own entries according to your requirements.
- Determine the number of the reason for each personnel action
- Give this reason a name
- Assign a reason category to each of the reasons
- Save your entries.
